The Riverland Community Justice Centre is a community legal centre that offers free, confidential legal advice. The Centre has a dedicated local solicitor, a mental health worker as well as highly experienced support staff.
We can assist with a broad range of legal matters, including:
- Family Law
- Criminal law
- Employment law
- Civil (e.g. neighbourhood / contract disputes) law.
Ongoing assistance and court representation, where relevant, are provided at no cost to eligible clients who cannot afford to pay a private solicitor and do not qualify for a grant of legal aid.
The Head Office is located at 9 Kay Avenue, Berri and free legal help is available for people who live or work in the centre’s catchment area.
